Webster Public Relations announces the signing of Frank Foster to it’s roster for publicity representation. “Frank has been able to build so much of his career essentially on his own,” said Kirt Webster. “I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together!”

Foster kicked off a summer schedule of tour dates July 2 at Wild Country Off Road in Leakesville, MS. During his tour, Foster will perform three times in his home state of Louisiana, among many other states. Foster will be joining the iconic Hank Williams Jr. on the road for select dates in July.

This rural Louisiana native and former oilfield man has taken his songs from the campfire to the coliseum seemingly overnight, all the while gaining a following of fans whose loyalty is unmatched. Foster embodies musical independence at its highest level, as the sole lyric writer on every song he has recorded and released. Foster has had two Top 10 debuting albums (“Rhythm and Whiskey,” “Boots On the Ground”) two Top 20 debuting albums (“Southern Soul,” “Good Country Music”) and one top 40 debuting album (“Red Wings & Six Strings”) all on the Billboard Country Charts. In addition, Foster has sold over 125,000 albums, over 325,000 singles and has over 7.5 million YouTube views. Foster is also the owner and operator of his own record label, Lone Chief Records, which he founded in 2014.

Foster first began learning guitar and writing songs during his junior year of college at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. After college, Foster accepted a full-time position working on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, where he would continue working the next 6 years. Ultimately, this is where his music career was born. After working grueling 12 hour shifts on the oil rig, Foster would wind down and relax by playing songs for his co-workers to pass the time. During a performance on the rig, Adam Sanders, Foster’s coworker, recorded a video of Foster singing and uploaded to YouTube. At the time Foster didn’t know what YouTube was and when Sanders told him that his video had been a viral hit, he decided to film some more. In August of 2009, Foster decided to make the move to Nashville to pursue his dreams and record his first album, “Rowdy Reputation.” To Foster’s surprise, he started getting phone calls from people looking to book him for shows. He quickly formed a makeshift band and accepted the offer. He began touring during his time off of the oil rig. He was working a two weeks on, two weeks off schedule. When the two weeks on the rig would end Frank, his band and his wife would begin touring. This would continue for several years until he was able to do music full time. Foster’s wife has been a huge supporter of his career, taking on the role as his booking agent, manager, tour manager and merchandise manager. “Without her, no chance all this happens,” said Foster. During Foster's journey to music stardom, he not only has taken the road less traveled, but the road almost never traveled. In 2014, he was signed by WME, who until now, is one of the few entities involved in Foster's career. He and his wife are still in charge of management, tour management, merchandising, etc. Foster continues to work hard in the studio and tour nationally for his loyal fans.
