As a staunch traditionalist in the country music sphere, Shane Owens has been building a strong following in nightclubs across the Southeast for more than a decade for his powerful singing and emotional live performances. After starting his career by opening shows for dozens of major stars in the mid-2000s, the baritone performer attracted the attention of Nashville music executives. But things took a hard break, when back-to-back signings fell through due to record label foldings. Owens had to pick himself up and move on, with a little help from producer James Stroud (Chris Young, Clint Black, etc.), who took him under his wing. These tales now form the basis of his debut CD from Amerimonte Records, along with several newly recorded tunes with the also esteemed Ed Seay (Martina McBride, Collin Raye, etc.).The result is a pluperfect portrait of a proud country traditionalist. with the release of his upcoming debut album and new single “Country Never Goes Out Of Style.” For more information on Shane, visit www.shaneowenscountry.com
